How to Care for your Merino Blanket & Throw ... totally machine washable.

Washing

Machine washable: Use wool detergent only, and choose the wool or delicate wash cycle on your machine. Wash wool in warm warmer.

Hand washing: Use water that has the same temperature as your baby's bath water. Rinse thoroughly with cool water to remove all traces of soap.

Spot cleaning: When necessary, wash gently by hand in lukewarm water with soap specially formulated for wool products. Simply rinse under lukewarm water.

Drying

You can either wring your blanket out to squeeze excess water out, OR simply put in washing machine on spin cycle to remove excess water. We suggest drying outside - preferably lying over something flat that enables air to circulate.

OR a drying rack - This helps the blanket to dry faster. Placing natural wool in direct sunlight to dry may discolor the natural wool. If hanging on the line outside lay over two to three clothesline wires to avoid marking and disfiguring. Allow blanket to dry away from direct sunlight and heat.
